Share a Selection
Last modified on

Selections allow you to share a curated group of artworks with colleagues, buyers, advisors, or friends without giving them access to your entire primary collection. You can share a Selection via a digital link or export it as a presentation-ready PDF document.
Sharing a Selection via link
Sharing a Selection is simple and customisable in Sesame.
Navigate to your Selections tab and select the board you wish to share.
While viewing the Selection, tap the Share Selection icon.
A modal will pop up that allows you to toggle which metadata fields to include in the shared view:
Value
Provenance
Exhibition
Citation
Optional privacy controls:
Set a password to protect access.
Set an expiration date for temporary access.
Tap Create Link to generate and copy the unique URL to your clipboard.
Managing Share Links: A single Selection can have multiple share links with different permission settings (e.g., one password-protected link with financial values included for an appraiser, and one public link with values hidden for a client). Active share links are listed under your Selection’s description, where you can delete any link at any time to revoke access immediately.
Downloading a PDF of a Selection
If you prefer to share an offline document or print a visual catalogue of your Selection, you can export it as a PDF fact sheet.
Open the Selection you wish to export.
Located in the action bar above the artwork listing, tap the Download icon (the arrow pointing into a tray).
In the download modal, customise your document settings:
Include provenance: Toggle to show or hide ownership history.
Include value: Toggle to display or suppress financial valuations.
One PDF per artwork: Check this box to generate individual PDF documents for each item in the Selection, or leave it unchecked to generate a single consolidated presentation document.
Tap Download to save the generated PDF file directly to your device.
