Condition photos
Last modified on

Whenever the Eythos team handles, inspects, receives, or installs physical artworks, our registrars capture detailed condition photos. These images automatically sync to your Sesame account, providing complete visual transparency over your stored inventory and logistics operations.
Navigating the condition photos section
To view all condition documentation captured across your account:
Select Condition Photos from the main left-hand navigation menu.
Browse the central list, which organises images chronologically by job. While a job typically corresponds to a single artwork, some jobs may cover multiple works depending on the scope of handling or transit.
Inspecting job details and images
Clicking on any job card in the list opens the job inspector panel on the right-hand side of your screen:
Job metadata: View the complete service title (e.g., Delivery and Installation of 1 artwork with unpack and condition check), reference ID, service date, and shared date.
Artwork details: Identify the associated artist, title, dimensions, and stock reference code.
Photo gallery: Inspect high-resolution condition images, installation photography, and unpack photos taken on-site or at the warehouse.
Annotate images: click or tap on an image, then on the pencil icon top right to highlight or write on the image. More on image annotation
Viewing condition photos on artwork records
In addition to the central Condition Photos hub, you can view condition records directly on individual asset profiles:
Open any artwork record from your Collection or Selection views.
Scroll down towards the bottom of the artwork details page to locate the Condition section.
Review all historical condition check photos and linked jobs specifically tied to that piece.
