Selection collaboration

Collaborative Selections allow you to work together with clients, guest curators, galleries, or external advisors on a shared set of artworks. Invited collaborators can view and contribute works to the Selection without gaining access to your broader primary collection or using up your paid team seats.

Opening the collaborators manager

To manage guest contributors for any Selection:

1. Tap 'Enable collaboration', a modal will slide in

2. Tap 'Create invite link

3. Copy the link and send the link directly to your client or external partner via email or messaging app.

4. When recipients open the link and join, the Selection automatically becomes active for collaboration, allowing them to contribute works.

Managing active invite links and guests

The Collaborators modal gives you full operational oversight of who has joined your project:

• Active invite links: View all generated invite links, monitor how many times a link has been used (e.g., 8 used), and track expiry status.

• Active collaborators list: See everyone who has accepted your invitation and joined the Selection.

• Revoking access: Tap the bin icon next to an individual guest's name to remove them from the project immediately.

• Deactivating collaboration: Tap the Deactivate button at the top of the modal to temporarily suspend or end all external contribution and viewing access across the board.

Note on team seats: External collaborators participating in shared or co-curated Selections do not count towards your paid Sesame team member limit.
