Temperature control is paired with 40% relative humidity to support the care of photographic and film materials, including silver-gelatin prints.

Drawer and shelf storage is available for photographs, packaged film, and other valuables that require cool, dry conditions.

Moving sensitive media from cold storage to a warmer environment requires careful planning to reduce condensation risk. Our cold-storage room is next to the viewing room, helping limit temperature changes during condition checks and private viewings.
