Eythos Trainee Programme

Hong Kong / Korea

Full-time trainee programme

Reporting to:

Programme Lead, with department managers during each rotation

About Eythos

Eythos protects fine art, collectibles and high-value objects through specialist storage, handling, logistics and collection care. We work with collectors, galleries, institutions and private clients who require precision, discretion and high standards.

Role Summary

The Eythos Trainee Programme is designed to develop high-potential people across the business.

Trainees rotate through key departments to understand how Eythos works from the ground up, including Client Relations, Registrar, Operations, Storage, Logistics, Fabrication and Commercial.

The aim is to build a strong foundation, identify each trainee’s natural strengths, and place them into the department where they can add the most value.

This is not a classroom role. Trainees learn by doing real work, under supervision, with clear standards and regular feedback. The role includes both office-based and hands-on operational work.

Programme Structure

Trainees rotate through core areas of the business:

  • Client Relations

  • Registrar

  • Operations and Art Handling

  • Storage and Facility

  • Transport and Logistics

  • Fabrication, Crating and Framing

  • Commercial and Client Development

Each rotation includes practical work, a department mentor, defined learning goals and an end-of-rotation review.

Programme length and rotation timings will be confirmed by Eythos, based on business need and trainee progress.

The trainee programme is a structured development pathway, not an automatic permanent placement. Continued employment and final placement are based on performance, attitude, reliability, learning progress, available roles and business need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily work across each department during rotation

  • Learn Eythos standards for handling, storage, documentation and client service

  • Assist with client requests, inventory records, movement preparation and internal coordination

  • Support warehouse, viewing room, transport and registrar workflows

  • Help prepare documents, photos, labels and operational records

  • Use Eythos systems accurately and keep records clean

  • Ask good questions, take feedback and improve quickly

  • Demonstrate care, discretion and reliability around valuable objects and client information

What You Will Learn

  • How fine art and high-value assets are stored, handled and moved

  • How client requests are managed from enquiry to completion

  • How registrar records, condition notes, images and inventory systems work

  • How storage, crating, framing and transport connect

  • How galleries, collectors, institutions and private clients operate and what great service looks like

  • How to use systems and AI tools to reduce admin and improve accuracy

What We Look For

We hire for attitude, care, learning speed and potential.

You should be reliable, practical, curious, digitally comfortable and willing to learn from the ground up. Prior art world experience is useful, but not required.

Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin or another language relevant to Eythos’ markets is preferred.

Assessment

Trainees are reviewed after each rotation on:

  • Attitude

  • Reliability

  • Accuracy

  • Communication

  • Teamwork

  • Learning speed

  • Care around objects and clients

  • System use

Likely Placement Paths

Successful trainees may move into roles such as:

  • Client Relations Assistant

  • Registrar Assistant

  • Art Technician

  • Logistics Coordinator

  • Storage and Facility Assistant

  • Fabrication Assistant

  • Commercial Support Executive
