Position overview
Eythos is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Intern to join our team. This internship will focus on assessing and improving our sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint calculations, packing materials analysis and waste management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental sustainability and a desire to contribute to meaningful change within our organization.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability programs focused on measuring carbon emissions and waste.
Conduct carbon footprint calculations for various operations within Eythos - helping us map out standards and integrate mapping tools with our tech team.
Analyze data related to energy consumption, waste generation, and resource usage to identify areas for improvement.
Explore and external communication of our activity and promotion.
Collaborate with team members to create and promote best practices.
Support the development of educational materials and training sessions on sustainability initiatives for staff.
Research and stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to sustainability and waste management. Bring to us interesting findings.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
